Stretching

A flexibility session is a focused period of time dedicated to improving the range of motion (ROM) in your muscles and joints through various stretching and mobility exercises.

Benefits include:

  • Improved range of motion and joint health

  • Decreased risk of injury

  • Reduced muscle stiffness and soreness

  • Better posture and movement efficiency

  • Enhanced athletic performance

  • Relaxation and stress relief

The graston technique is a form of manual therapy that uses stainless steel instruments to help influence scar tissue and adhesions in muscles, tendons, and ligaments. It’s used for treating a variety of conditions from sports injuries to chronic pain.

Benefits include:

  • Detect and treat areas of scar tissue, fascial restrictions, or adhesions.

  • Improve the flow of blood and nutrients to injured areas.

  • Stimulate the body’s healing process.

dry needling

Dry needling is a therapeutic technique used by physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to treat muscle pain and movement impairments. It involves inserting thin, solid needles into specific points in the muscle, known as trigger points, to relieve pain and improve muscle function. The needles are inserted without any medication or injection, hence the term "dry" needling.

Cupping involves placing special cups on the skin to create suction, which gently pulls the skin and underlying tissues upward. This suction increases blood flow, reduces muscle tension, and supports the body’s natural healing processes.

Benefits include:

 Pain Relief

  • Cupping increases blood flow to targeted areas, which can help reduce muscle tension, improve tissue healing, and relieve pain from conditions like back pain, neck pain, and fibromyalgia.

 Improved Circulation

  • By drawing blood to the surface, cupping helps improve local circulation. This can accelerate healing by bringing oxygen and nutrients to tissues and flushing out toxins and waste products.

 Myofascial Release

  • Cupping helps loosen tight muscles and fascia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles), reducing stiffness and promoting flexibility and range of motion.

 Reduced Inflammation and Swelling

  • Cupping may aid in decreasing inflammation by enhancing lymphatic flow and drainage, which can be especially beneficial after injury or surgery.

 Relaxation and Stress Reduction

  • The therapy has a calming, massage-like effect, which can help reduce stress and promote relaxation—important components of overall recovery.
